There are 14 Kennels which includes large family kennels to accommodate giant breeds and family members.
The kennels are under floor heated with their own external runs. Each internal kennel is tiled and provided with a designer Kuranda bed.
A daily exercise regime is in place at Birch Bark to relieve boredom. We will ensure your pet has its daily walks which are an important part of your dog’s holiday and for rainy days; we have coats in all sizes to ensure they have fun whatever the weather brings.
Dogs are exercised around beautiful nearby countryside.
Your pet will also be given access to our large exercise areas where they will have quality play-time off the lead whilst supervised – We also have a collection of doggy board games to provide psychological entertainment.
Our customers’ instructions regarding feeding and exercise routines will be adhered to. Feeding is provided in the cost but customers’ wishing to bring their own dog’s diet will be catered for.
Please feel free to bring your pets own bedding and toys which will help make them feel more comfortable whilst their stay.
Background music is played to create a relaxing homely atmosphere for your pet.
We charge by the day: Day of arrival is charged for regardless of how arrival time and charged inclusive of departure day.
All dogs must be fully inoculated. All dogs must also be fully inoculated against Kennel Cough at least 3 week before arrival.
Spot checks are carried out regarding vaccines: if your dog or cat is found not vaccinated or require period for kennel cough vaccine we refuse the right of admission.
Vaccination records must be produced for inspection.
Older Dogs: if we think on arrival your dog or cat is unfit for boarding we will refuse the right of admission.
